CLEAN PACIFIC ROUNDTABLE 2021

A round table has been organized every two years, since 2016, by the Oceanian Regional Program for Environmental Protection (SPREP), on the theme of waste and pollution in the Pacific region.

The ACOTRED cluster offered to host the 3rd round table. ACOTRED, which represents the majority of waste management stakeholders in New Caledonia, wanted this round table to take place in New Caledonia in order to share its experience in terms of waste management, develop human, technical and economic influence. and politics in the region.

The 3rd edition of the round table therefore took place in 2021, with the possibility of holding it in digital format:

• First week: technical sessions were spread over 4 half-days with webinars that can be followed online.

• Second week: Local event to physically bring together all local stakeholders. ACOTRED also offered tours of waste treatment facilities.
